The Leesburg Police Department is a full service department patroling and serving the citizens and visitors of Leesburg 24 hours a day, seven days a week LPD officers work 12 hour shifts. The department has a day shift, evening shift and midnight shift. Officers may get certified as a bike patrol officer to enhance their patroling capabilities. Some speciality positions include;
