Doña Ana County Clerk's Office
Description
The Doña Ana County Clerk's Office consists of Recording and Filing and the Bureau of Elections. The Doña Ana County Clerk's Office keeps records such as resolutions, ordinances, deeds and marriage licenses. The office also issues several types of permits and licenses, such as permits for parties, licenses for liquor establishments, etc.
In addition, the office supervises county, state and federal elections in Doña Ana County. This consists of preparing ballots and voting machines and training poll workers.
The clerk's office also supports the Office of the Probate Judge in handling informal proceedings.
