Last night, Sunday March 11, Joe Milsom, aka Robert Bobby passed away quietly in his sleep after a year long battle with a brain tumor. His loving wife and musical partner Chris was by his side. Robert Bobby performed several times at Lancaster Roots and Blues in the past. Joe was a creative genius as a singer/songwriter/producer. One of my all time favorite albums was Joe's Chilly Wind. Joe was a founding member of The Speedboys, who were inducted into the Lancaster Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in January of this year. He was well known in the singer/ songwriter community, the Folk community and the Lancaster music scene and beyond. The world lost a good man last night. Guitarist Eric Johnson, the final artist to perform at the 2018 Festival was finishing his final song around 8 p.m. last night... As Joe's longtime friend MIke Fisher said, "When the show was over, he went home."
