May the Strength of God guide us. May the Power of God preserve us. May the Wisdom of God instruct us. May the Hand of God protect us. May the Way of God direct us. May the Shield of God defend us. May the Angels of God guard us. -Against the snares of the evil one. May Christ be with us! May Christ be before us! May Christ be in us, Christ be over all! May Thy Grace, Lord, Always be ours, This day, O Lord, and forevermore. Amen.

Check out the "sculptures in the round" from the students in Intro to 3-D art class. The students took styrofoam cups and using x-acto knives carve and cut to create 3-D sculptures. This project makes the students think three dimensionally as they have to consider all sides of the sculpture. They then paint the sculpture using acrylic paints. The class talks about the impact that styrofoam has on the environment and how it and other discarded items could be used to create art or useful items for the world. The art student also recently went on a field trip to Indy. Check out the link below: http://cc.lcss.org/arts/fine-arts-field-trip/
