Lafayette, Indiana The Long Center for the Performing Arts is located in historic downtown Lafayette, IN. Built in 1921, the venue was originally designed for traveling Vaudeville acts and as a movie house, but is now home to local arts organizations including the Lafayette Symphony Orchestra, the Long Center Theatre Organ Society's Mighty Wurlitzer theater pipe organ, and more. The Long Center presents many performances each season, and also hosts many national touring shows/acts. The Long Center seats 1,155. To rent the Long Center for your next event, call 765 742 5664.
