facebook.comThe ULV Chamber Singers and Chorale recently brought the spirit of the season to life at their annual "Choral Holiday Spectacular" concert at the La Verne Church of the Brethren. They sang joyful renditions of traditional and classic Christmas numbers.
This fall semester, nine student teams raised more than $27,000 for local charities through startup businesses they created as part of the Integrated Business Program. The program gives undergraduate business students hands-on experience operating a real business before graduation, with profits going to a charity of their choice. The checks were presented to the charities at a ceremony in the university’s Abraham Campus Center on Dec. 14.
Kevin Reid, University of La Verne’s new head track and field coach, brings a holistic style of leadership to the La Verne Leopards: “As I build relationships with individual athletes, I want to help them to balance their personal, social, and spiritual lives. When we develop quality relationships, the athletic piece benefits.”
Two of our art exhibits will be ending this Friday: "Time Traveler" by Rotem Reshef and "Life on Wheels: The New American Nomads" by David Gardner. Take a break from studying and the holiday hustle and bustle and make sure you see both before they're gone.

The University of La Verne's Center for Neurodiversity, Learning, and Wellness is leading a revolution to change that by developing and teaching strategies that serve the unique way each person's brain functions.
Holiday cheer is almost here...
Congrats to members of the University of La Verne debate team for their victory at the inaugural Fall U.S. National Debate Championship! Senior political science and speech communication major Joanna Mrsich and junior sociology major Michael Eberle were crowned the champions. Freshman Tania Ruedas, a political science major, and junior criminology major Hannah Reyes took first place in the novice division.
