Jolley Signs On to Narrate Wings Over South Texas Air Show NAS KINGSVILLE, TX – Professional air show announcer Matt Jolley has agreed to again provide his insightful and engaging narration for the Wings Over South Texas Air Show, March 24-25. In 2016, Matt provided the narration for the two-day airshow, emceed the air show pep rally for area school children at Texas A&M-Kingsville’s Javelina Stadium, and was the master of ceremonies for the city’s “Meet The Blues” event at the J.K. Northway Coliseum. "The best part of the Kingsville airshow is the South Texas community; they're the secret ingredient for this event,” Jolley said. “As a native South Texan, that makes me happy.” Matt is currently on a two-year assignment in the Middle East with WarbirdRadio.com, a national Edward R. Murrow award winning online radio station that tells the stories of American airmen, past and present. "Americans should be extremely proud of the men and women currently serving. The sacrifices they and their families are making for our nation is selfless and truly humbling,” he said. Despite his overseas assignment, Jolley was featured at nearly a dozen airshows across the U.S. in 2017. When asked how Wings Over South Texas compares to other show sites, he didn’t hesitate. “I can't say enough good about the show site and the team at NAS Kingsville and Wings Over South Texas,” Jolley said. “It's one of the best organized, literally features the most talented aviators the world over, but the overall venue is still intimate enough that everyone can see and usually meet the performers. Oh yeah ... and shade! It's the only air show I know of where everyone that wants a shady spot to sit and watch can have one." The Wings Over South Texas air show offers free parking and free admission. Air show information is available at www.wingsoversouthtexas.com.
