The Light at Joplin is launching a new group called Living Grace. Mental weakness is not spiritual weakness. Struggling with mental health challenges such as depression, anxiety, and other problems with mood stability are real and need compassionate support. Living Grace Group is an understanding community providing encouragement and support. This curriculum guided group is filled with insightful education, tools to improve life, and a renewal of faith. We encourage you to attend and become a part of this life-changing and transformative community of support. Living Grace Group is part of a national movement of support for individuals and families living with mental health difficulties and disorders. All Youth Grades 6-12 join us on New Years Eve for a Lock In! Our night will be filled with life-size hungry hippo game, inflatable balls big enough to fit inside, board games, minute to win it games, and so much food(including a waffle bar!!)! We aren't allowing reentry for the safety of all. We also will need to have a permission slip signed for you child to stay in our care. We will be sending these home with your child. We’re talking jingle bells, lights, felt snowmen, reindeer, Santa hats and more! We will be rewarding a prize each service to the Ugliest Sweater! Plus we will have some photo booth fun!
