If you have sick days saved up - this is the week to use them. Crappie are hitting hard in rivers and lakes - basically anywhere there is water with fish in it. Most fish are biting well on live bait. If you have just 1 day to fish out of the year.. go this week.... TIS' THE SEASON FOLKS

Although the gauges in the river are reading mid 50's - we measured 60 degrees yesterday in the "back water" ponds by Saylorville. Smaller bodies of water will be warmer compared to the river. With 3 days now of warming weather, we should have some great fishing today!
