Sand Hollow Marathon
Description
Our Marathon is a loop course around Sandhollow Lake in Hurricane Utah, 20 min from St George in Southern Utah and 30 Min from Zion Natl Park Sandhollow Marathon is celebrating its 4th run with a new course that loops around Sandhollow Lake, its located in So Utah 20 minutes from St George Ut and 30 minutes from Zions Natl Park, 2hrs from the Grand Canyon and Bryce Canyon. Lots to see and do. This is amoung the most scenic courses in the world. We offer cash prizes for the first 3 men and women overall and prizes for the best costumes. We will increase those cash prizes as the race grows. Brought to you by Red Dog Events

The start of the Half, first year we had a Half and it seemed to be a hit, we went to an out and back on the full marathon and started the half at the turnaround. So, the runners passed on the course and the Marathoners passed each other because its an out and back, did not know how the runners would like it but it was an easier course to set up and execute and it keep our runners off rt 9 so we are sticking with it, we loved it and got no complaints from our AWESOME LONG DISTANCE RUNNERS
