Come join us this Sunday for worship service. Galatians 3:23-29 23 Now before faith came, we were confined under the law, kept under restraint until faith should be revealed. 24 So that the law was our custodian until Christ came, that we might be justified by faith. 25 But now that faith has come, we are no longer under a custodian; 26 for in Christ Jesus you are all sons of God, through faith. 27 For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

Come join us at First Church this fall for Worship service on Sunday's at 10:00. You will not want to miss this Sermon Series from Rev. Crouch!!! 4-Week Sermon Series: “THE GOAL OF ONENESS” The increasing polarization of our nation and our communities, especially in this election year, is both painful and worrisome. Of particular concern are the political, racial, and religious divides. As Christians, how might we help bridge these divides? How might we speak to one another, reach out to one another, and love one another in a way that brings healing to our nation and our world? Sept 11 “God’s Dream of Unity” Revelation 7:9-17 The author of Revelation helps us understand God’s desire to bring all people together. While we consider God’s dream of unity, we will also consider the role that the church can play in making this dream more of a reality. Rally Sunday Sept 18 “A One-Table Faith in a Two-Table World” Galatians 2:11-14 As the early church experienced, living in community can be challenging. This week we will consider what Christians can do to overcome some of the world’s divisions. Sept 25 “Living Between the ‘Already’ and the ‘Not Yet’” Acts 17:22-29 In many respects, we’ve already come a long ways in becoming a more unified world, but we’re not there yet. Being mindful that we worship the Creator of all humanity can help us continue down the path of embracing everyone as our brothers and sisters. Oct 2 “Celebrating Our Diversity” Galatians 3:23-29 Striving for unity does not mean striving to be the same. Rather, it means allowing ourselves to be enriched by one another’s differences.
