United Way Code for DE: 9250; Code for PA: 10165 Chinese School of Delaware 德立華中文學校 is a not-for-profit educational weekend school located at the Chinese American Community Center in Hockessin, Delaware. It was established in 1971 by a few families in the area. Over the years, it has grown into a school with 180 students at times. Along with the Chinese American Community Center (CACC), the school has been recognized as the local resource for Chinese culture and language. It is the vision of the Chinese School of Delaware to become a Chinese language school, which serves the community at large, and individuals who are interested in learning Chinese and its culture.
