Battleground Speedway is a 3/8 mile oval dirt track motorsports venue. ASCS Sprint Cars, Supr,Late Model, Limited Modifieds, Mod-Lites, Pure Stocks,...etc.      Battleground Speedway is a 3/8-mile dirt oval motorsports venue in Highlands, Texas. Built in 1984, Battleground Speedway racing starts from the beginning of March to late October. Races are usually on Saturday nights unless there is a special events. The 3/8th mile dirt track had hosted the World of Outlaw Late Models and the United States Modified Touring Series (USMTS) in 2009.
     Currently, our special event races includes Lucas Oil ASCS Sprint Car Southern Series and the Supr Late Models. Battleground Speedway races the Late Models, Limited Mods, Mod-Lites, Classic Dwarfs, Pure Stocks, Street Stocks, Eco-Stocks, and Junior Mini's on most Saturdays.
