calling all Pinot Noir lovers... tonight! Tasting with the Winemaker: Ken Bernards Thursday May 4, 2017 6:30-8:30pm Ancien co-founder and winemaker, Ken Bernards is visiting Vintage 38 for an intimate evening tastings of his wines. Ken worked his first harvest in Napa Valley in 1986 while pursuing a degree in chemistry from Oregon State University. He then worked as a research enologist for Domaine Chandon, otherwise known as a "experimental winemaker". After an enlightening visit to Burgundy, the home of Pinot Noir, Ken founded Ancien Wines in 1992 in the ongoing quest for creating great Pinot Noirs. Although based in Napa, he spreads his wings and winemaking talent wide. Come enjoy an evening with this special man and his wines. Reserve your seat in advance as these events can sell out.
