A rotating 51 tap craft beer bar and gastropub on the corner of Michigan St. and Eastern Ave. Please stay tuned for updates... Michigan's first 7 Monks opened in Traverse City over Labor Day Weekend back in 2011. There were only "7" trappist monasteries brewing beer at the time...hence our name. The name remains although the number of trappist breweries continues to increase across the world. We've never been more proud to serve world class beer, fantastic food and offer an atmosphere where you can comfortably enjoy any of our offerings!
We have fifty-one rotating taps, over 100 craft bottles/cans, and a full bar.
Our second location launched in Boyne City, MI, during the summer of 2016. Grand Rapids opened it's doors to a wonderful and welcoming community on April 21st, 2017.

A foeder-aged golden sour ale refermented on golden gooseberries. Puckeringly sour and fruit forward, it’s love in a cage (bottle).

Join us in our intimate Loft setting, as scheduled performers from this Traverse City production take the microphone to tell true stories of moments in their lives that beer had a starring role. Here:Say Storytelling Presents Beer Me begins at 7 pm, August 29th, but come early for a bite to eat and to sample some of the New Belgium Brewing Sour beer also being featured that night! 🎤 🍻
