How to become FSC®-Certified

The creation of paper does not have to be damaging to our environment. Through proper practices paper making can truly be socially and environmentally friendly. There are various certification programs that hold the forestry industry to strict standards to achieve this. One of the certification programs is the Forest Stewardship Council. Gorham Paper and Tissue is proud to be FSC Certified. Below is a video describing what rules have to be met to become FSC Certified.

The smoke rising from the valley is not from our facility. We would be located slightly to the right of this picture. The picture was too good not to share! Feel free to share any pictures of Gorham Paper and Tissue that you may have!

Today we are down in Concord, NH at the Walmart State House Day. This event is put on by Walmart to showcase its partnerships with New Hampshire based companies. Non-profits and suppliers have teamed up to educate legislators on the products and jobs provided to Walmart. Below are pictures of our booth and our CFO Wayne Johnson and CEO Dick Arnold. They are answering questions and telling the mills story!
