Today was the Giving Garland Holiday Party put on by #codcares, it's an annual event where community members take tags off of a garland in the atrium and buy gifts for needy families in the community. The event benefits DCFS and Metropolitan Family Services. Volunteers can wrap donated gifts and make everything from votives to holiday cards for seniors and veterans.
