B&R is a multi-disciplinary firm offering MEP engineering design & construction management, commissioning and energy services. B&R is a multi-disciplinary firm offering mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) engineering design and construction management, commissioning and energy services. Founded in 1992 and conveniently located near BWI Airport, B&R has completed winning projects of all sizes regionally and nationwide. We have 37 professional and technical personnel on staff, including 5 registered engineers. Our staff is knowledgeable and highly proficient in a multitude of project sectors including commercial, retail, mixed-use, office, government, casinos and sports and entertainment facilities.
In addition to conventional consulting engineering services, we also provide numerous additional services including Design/Build, Dry Utility Design, Sustainable Design, Peer Review and Building Assessment. In each of these arenas, clients will have direct access to personnel with the knowledge and foresight to answer questions, identify potential challenges, and bring the data gained through our project experience to execute proven solutions.

Electrical Designers and Engineers B&R Engineering Services , located in Glen Burnie, MD is seeking Electrical Designers and Engineers with a minimum of three (3) years design experience in electrical systems for commercial and multi-family residential construction projects. B&R is a growing mechanical and electrical engineering and construction management firm providing M/E/P engineering consulting, design and construction management services for various commercial construction projects and clients nationwide. The candidate will be responsible for electrical engineering and design for building electrical systems including power distribution, lighting systems, fire alarm and low voltage systems for commercial office buildings, interior office tenants, retail, multi-family residential and other projects. Requirements: • BS in electrical engineering from an ABET accredited engineering university • Passed FE (EIT) exam and able to sit for PE exam • Minimum three years relevant electrical design experience • PE license preferred • Knowledge of NEC, IBC and NFPA codes for commercial buildings and systems • Proficient in the latest versions of AutoCAD and REVIT • Ability to perform field survey work Benefits • Competitive salary • Paid Vacation, Personal Days and Holiday’s • Health, Dental and Vision benefits offered
