FALL 2019 INTERN SPOTLIGHT Makenzie Leonard is a current University of Florida political science student who has joined our office as an intern for the Fall 2019 semester. She will be working with us until December. In her role as an intern, Makenzie helps create content for social media, plan outreach events, and write for our office. She enjoys working with everyone in the office and is excited for the opportunity to help Alachua County's voters. When not working, Makenzie enjoys hammocking, cooking and competing with the UF Model United Nations Team. #VoteAlachua

Alachua County's overseas voters warned of mail changes
"Michael Bruckman, Alachua County Supervisor of Elections vote-by-mail coordinator, said the potential withdrawal would mean mail will be harder to receive and send for Alachua voters living in about 110 countries. Our office is excited to announce that we won the Election Center’s 2019 Stars and Stripes Award for our 2018 election cycle partnership with the University of Florida. A big thank you to the Election Center Professional Practices Committee, University of Florida President Kent Fuchs, Assistant Vice President for Community Relations Susan Crowley and everyone who made this possible!
