Costly pollution in Stinson Creek raises questions about source

Watch this video of William Woods students, along with Professor Joe Kyger, using their chemistry knowledge to benefit the environment and the community. The team is working with the city of Fulton to analyze pollution in Stinson Creek. It's a great example of hands-on learning. To continue the story, an alumnus heard about this project and wanted to help. Mike Tanner ‘10 is a chemist who has worked for the USGS-Columbia Research Center (a biological and environmental lab) for over 20 years. Last week he took Professor Kyger and the students on a tour of his facility.

For the first team in program history, the William Woods University Men's tennis team, won the Heart of American/American Midwest Conference Unaffiliated Group Tournament. They're heading to the NAIA Men's Tennis National Championship later this month. Watch the video that freshman tennis player Oscar Donker created about the tournament.
