Fat Rosie’s is a fun, hip & festive family-friendly Mexican Taqueria featuring a modern take on traditional Mexican fare with endless amounts of tequila. Fat Rosie’s Taco & Tequila Bar will be opening its doors in south suburban Frankfort, Illinois this coming Summer. The restaurant will be located at 28 Kansas Street next door to Francesca’s Fortunato in the Wright-Harper Building. Fat Rosie’s is a fun, hip & festive family-friendly Mexican Taqueria featuring a modern take on traditional Mexican fare with small plates, shareable “street foods” & endless tequila. House specialties will include an array of mouthwatering handmade margaritas & sangrias. Fat Rosie’s joins the Francesca’s Family of Restaurants, expanding the group to 33 restaurants across 4 concepts.

Who is behind Fat Rosie’s?  None other than Chicago’s very own, Chef Scott Harris (Founding Partner of Francesca’s Restaurants). Over the last 23 years, Chef Harris has established himself as one of Chicago’s most respected restaurateurs and his restaurant empire continues to grow, winning fans and accolades across the country. Harris has earned a stellar reputation as a chef, business leader & generous contributor to the community.  His restaurant group, collectively known as The Francesca’s Restaurant Group (FRG), is composed of 23 Francesca’s locations, 5 Davanti Enoteca wine bars, 6 Glazed & Infused doughnut shops & the soon-to-be Fat Rosie’s.
