What on earth are you here for? What person are you to marry? Children to raise? Vocation to occupy? Mission to join? Whatever God may have in store for you, that calling will fall within the parameters that his word provides for all believers in Christ. This week, Pastor Greg Byman takes a look at Philippians 1:6 and 2 Peter 1:3-11 to consider our mandate to grow in one of the most neglected areas of life – the spiritual. Part 4: Grow Spiritually” on May 13, 2018 at St. Joe Community Church. http://www.stjoecommunitychurch.org/sermons/what-on-earth-am-i-here-for-part-4-grow-spiritually

What on earth are you here for? What person are you to marry? What children are you to raise? What vocation are you to occupy? What mission are you to join? Whatever God may have in store for you, that calling will fall within the parameters that his word provides for all believers in Christ. This week, Pastor Greg Byman takes a look at Romans 8:28-30 to learn about God’s big ideas for your calling. This week we’ll consider how God necessarily is calling every Christ-follower according to God’s plan. Next, your calling necessarily requires that you increasingly become more like Jesus. Finally, your purpose necessarily will involve helping people. Pastor Greg Byman delivered “What on Earth Am I Here For?” on April 22, 2018 at St. Joe Community Church. What is wisdom, and how to find it? Over the past couple weeks, Pastor Greg Byman has focused on the fundamental historical facts of the Bible proving that Jesus was who he said he was – the one and only son of God who both saves us from an eternity of condemnation and separation from God, and then empowers us to live for God’s glory during our remaining days on this earth. The key to living for God’s glory instead of our own is found in wisdom. God’s wisdom, however, stands in stark contrast to our mortal wisdom, and today, Pastor Byman digs into the word of God in the book of Job, chapter 28, to explore how God wants us to tap his wisdom for our daily living. Pastor Greg Byman delivered “How to Find Wisdom” on April 15, 2018 at St. Joe Community Church. http://www.stjoecommunitychurch.org/sermons/how-to-find-wisdom
