First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) is a welcoming congregation that hosts 8:45am and 11am Sunday services. Here at First Christian Church, we seek to be a church of Love, Friendship and Inspiration.
The Lord's Supper is central to the Christian Church in worship. The Lord's Supper is celebrated each Sunday. New members are accepted by confession of faith in Jesus Christ and Baptism by immersion, or by transfer of membership from other congregations.

Church Choir rehearsal each Wednesday evening at 7:00 pm (Sept-May)
Christian Women's Fellowship
The CWF General Fellowship meeting is the 4th Monday evening of each month
Bible Study Groups
Christian Men's Fellowship meets every other month on the 2nd Saturday at 4:00 pm
Youth Group
Children's Fellowship Group
Community Chorus meets each Tuesday evening at 7:00 pm (Sept-May)
Quilting Group meets each Thursday morning at 9:00 am

Great Sunday School lesson comparing the Good Shepherd in Ezekiel 34 to John 10...closing prayer: God our Good Shepherd, you sent Jesus to gather us into your great flock. Forgive us for straying. Open our ears and hearts to listen for your strong, loving voice. May we be attentive to each message you send. Empower us by your Spirit to follow Christ closely. Amen.
Today's prayer: Reconciling God, we are amazed that you were "for us" even when we were sinners. Now you have made our lives new in Christ your Son. Guide us by your Spirit to live as forgiving, generous people. May our presence and interactions with others testify to the peace you bring. Amen.

You have conquered sin and death. In this astounding miracle, you fulfilled your promises to Israel for life evermore. Give us faith and confidence that everyone who trusts in you will be raised with Christ. Amen.
