October is breast cancer awareness month so we wanted to remind patients that the Tri-State Center for Breast Health offers MR guided breast biopsies to provide the most thorough breast health care. The MR guided technology can detect an area of concern in patients, that may not always be detected with ultrasound or mammography. Until recently, patients had to leave the area for this specialty, but now they can receive the treatment right here in the Shoals. #namccares

The ECM Seabiscuits will be defending their first place title this Saturday at the Shoals Dragon Boat Race. The first boats hit the water at 9:00 am. Come cheer on the Seabiscuits and all the teams who are going paddles up! The festival takes place at McFarland Park. #namccares

Disaster Drill: Today, our team participated in a drill to prepare in the case of a mass injury situation. The mock drill brought 20 patients into the emergency department. Staff across the house mobilized to care for the patients participating in the drill. #namccares
