Big Guns BBQ is a world class competition cooking team based in New York's majestic Hudson River Valley. Founded in 2009 Big Guns BBQ is fast becoming one of the more recognizable and respected teams on the Kansas City Barbeque Society (KCBS) competition circuit. Deploying from their home base in the Northeastern United States, the Big Guns team competes across the country. 2013 will see the Big Guns competing in 9 different States.

Award winning Pit Master Sean Keever is the driving force of Big Guns BBQ. Having discovered a love for BBQ while serving as a United States Army Field Artilleryman, the Big Guns team is dedicated to competing at the highest levels of competitive cooking and upholding the proud tradition of the Redlegs, the US Army and veterans everywhere.
In addition to winning numerous awards under the Big Guns banner, Sean also competes as a member of Smoke On Wheels, including the teams that won the Pork and Cook’s Choice categories at the 2010 and 2011 Jack Daniels World BBQ Championship Invitational.

When not competing on the KCBS trail, Big Guns concentrates on supporting our Nation’s service members and veterans at numerous events. The biggest of these is the 8th Annual Quad State Herf Cigar-B-Q held each year at West Point, NY where last year we helped in raising more than $15,000 for various charities including Wings For Warriors.
