Kaia FIT's Mission is to create strong bodies and powerful minds. We are a women's fitness program that delivers personalized training in a group.  Think of Kaia FIT as a team sport. We are not your typical gym. We are not a room full of strangers, we are a group of women that support and love each other. Kaia is a women’s only year around fitness facility. At Kaia FIT Fernley we focus on personal fitness results achieved by working in a team atmosphere. In the Kaia FIT klasses you are surrounded by women helping each other accomplish common fitness goals. A big reason for asking you to commit to a class time is so you commit to your classmates/teammates each morning or evening. These women along with our Kaia Koaches are what keep you accountable, inspired and driven. In turn they are counting on you as well, Kaia is a team sport.

Norma's Story <3 "Hello my name is Norma and my journey with Kaia began in January 2015. At my tall stature of 4"11, I gained up to 128 lbs. I have always struggled with weight. Exercising on my own, joining gyms, and loved it. But never kept the weight off. I didn't know how important nutrition was. I was an addict to sugar, filling my 2-3 cups of coffee with up to 1.5 tablespoons of sugar and cream every morning. In 2014, I turned 40. I noticed changes in my balance and speech. I was literally runnung into walls and sometimes noticed that I was slurring my speech. I went to the doctor and besides being overweight, they didn't find anything else. However, with some more testing, it was found I had a genetic condition called Spinocerebellar Ataxia. This has to do with nerve cells and affects coordination and balance. It made me realize that if I don't move my body or muscles, I will lose them sooner by helping the condition to think it was boss. For me, it was really a "use it or lose it" eye-opener! ! My first Kaia class was hard, but so very encouraging seeing the determination in all the ladies doing their thing at their own level. I learned about nutrition, not diet. To this day, I recall what the coach said during BRIK orientation, "think about food as your fuel. Fuel your body with food that will give you energy, nutrition to make it run" (something like that). With all the coach's help, I lost weight and inches from my first BRIK. But I gained knowledge, confidence, friends, and strength. I still deal with my balance and dizziness (that may not go away), but I am much stronger and Kaia certainly keeps me moving!! I encourage anyone, no matter your story, give Kaia a try. You will find support from amazing coaches who genuinely care for you and a tribe of strong women." ~ Norma

Kaia Girl Goldie shares her journey! ❤️ "My Kaia Journey began exactly one year ago. Was it easy? Not always. Was it worth it? Absolutely! I've lost a total of 21 lbs. and over 13" overall. Beyond the obvious, I have gained a sisterhood. I have gained self confidence and strength I didn't know existed. Women that inspire me and push me every single day. Positive energy makes all the difference in the world. The things I've discovered my mind and body are capable of still surprise me. I just turned 52. I have done a 6 minute plank, an 8 mile race (race walking), and my very first ever pull up. I can do a handstand with confidence and yoga moves I never expected. And, I have taken up paddleboarding and started my own business!! I'm no longer afraid to try new things. Unlike a gym, you have personal trainers available at no extra cost. The amazing coaches have guided me through this past year genuinely caring about me and my health. It's so much more than just clean eating. It's a kommitment!"

Say Hello to Colleen!! <3 "My Kaia journey started in July, 2013. I started attending classes in another location, before the Fernley location opened. I was hooked from the moment I walked in the door. Throughout my life I considered myself an “athlete,” then before you know it… life happened… and I had gained A LOT of weight. One day, back in 2002, I woke up and saw a picture of myself and didn’t even recognize my own face. I began a lifelong weight loss / fitness journey… I lost the weight over a course of about 2 years, and I managed to keep it off over the next 14 or so years. I’ve realized as I’ve gotten older, had two babies, turned 40, how important it is to truly incorporate healthy eating and fitness into my everyday life. But it wasn’t just healthy eating and fitness… I also needed to surround myself with strong, positive-thinking individuals who will encourage me. That’s when Kaia came into my life… or I entered into Kaia. Kaia provides excellent physical training, but they also give you the encouragement you need to accomplish the mental battles one must overcome in any type of fitness regimen. In addition, Kaia provides excellent nutrition tips and tools. I can throw out all of the stats to convince someone to try Kaia. Things like how many pounds or inches I’ve lost; how many minutes I’ve shaved off my mile time… But at the end of the day, those are not the reasons I go to Kaia. My number one reason that I get up at 4:30 am is to surround myself with the amazing women of Kaia. I can honestly say that I have found my “family” away from my family back home in Michigan. I have created friendships with women who inspire me on a daily basis. Friendships that I have no doubt will last a lifetime. These amazing women who show determination, perseverance, grit, encouragement, acceptance, and ultimately their love… that is why I go to Kaia. I am a wife, a mother of two beautiful children, and a full-time working professional. The 60 minutes that I spend at Kaia are a gift to myself so that I may be the best version of me, and put myself first during that one hour at Kaia. When I walk out the door after my Kaia work out, I know that I will be a better wife, mother, and even employee because of my time spent there. Come to a class, give it a try, I promise you will not be disappointed, you will walk out feeling inspired and finding strength you never knew you had!" -Colleen U.

Say Hello to Victoria! Here is her Kaia Journey in her own words and how it has changed her. <3 "Hello my name is Victoria and I am 60. I joined Kaia in November 2015. It has been the most amazing journey for me. I have lost 22 pounds and many inches. I finally love myself and have confidence. I am strong now. As you can see me in the first picture with no smile to the last picture of me smiling. Kaia is the best thing to happen for me. I love all the coaches Amy Henderson, Lindsey Kreller, Jessica Rodarte, Lea Jenson, Rachel Soliman, Kelsey Fagundes and Trish Conner. If you ever wanted to do something for yourself this is it. You won’t regret it. I made it my 2nd job every night at 6:00pm and my husband supports me in this endeavor. Since joining I have ran a few 5Ks, 10K’s and a couple 15K’s. I was never been a runner but I am learning to love it. Do it for yourself. You deserve it. Come try it for a week for free. The girls are amazing and life time sisters to me know. After our first Brik session I was the Kaia queen for losing the most and working the hardest. You can do it. Come join me."
