Farmington Animal Shelter provides temporary care for the homeless and lost animals of Farmington NM and San Juan County.  Farmington Regional Animal Shelter (FRAS) provides temporary shelter, basic medical care and adoption and transfer opportunities to the animals of the four-corners region. Receiving close to 8,000 animals each year, FRAS looks for any possible owner then evaluates each animal before placing them up for adoption. Are you looking for a new BFF? Butterfly is one of several dogs that are already altered and can go home with you today! The best part? Through Sunday all dogs or puppies that are already altered have a reduced adoption fee of only $25! Senior dogs have an adoption fee of only $25 as well. We are open 11:30-5:30, 7 days a week!

Penelope, picture below- is ADOPTED! We are excited to announce special pricing on our dogs now through Sunday! Any dog or puppy that is already altered has an adoption fee of only $25 now through Sunday! All animals that have already been spayed or neutered will have a sign on their kennel indicating they can go home today at the special adoption price. Also, if you look at our available dogs and Petango.com, it will indicate if the dog is already spayed or neutered. Senior dogs (aged of 6 years or older) will continue to be $25 all month long in honor of Adopt-a-Senior-Dog Month. Adoption prices on cats and kittens continue to be reduced as well! Adult cats are $25 to adopt and kittens are $50 and 2 for the price of 1! We are open 7 days a week from 11:30-5:30.
