We welcome Business Professionals of AMERICA - Minnesota Chapter College Division this evening! The awards luncheon turned into a dinner event tonight so the attendees can try and beat the snow storm. The museum is being transformed for the event as I type this post! Thank you to our catering partner Santa Lucia for accomodating the change for our customer!

(Special to The Forum) FARGO—1 Million Thanks, an annual celebration that highlights local entrepreneurs and changemakers, will be held from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Jan. 25 at the Fargo Air Museum. Each year, Emerging Prairie and a selection board identify local community members and businesses to be celebrated with six awards at the event. Award recipients include: • Ray Berry of Omnibyte - Rookie of the Year Award recipient. This award goes to someone who has put down roots in Fargo and strongly invested in the community. • HERE Technologies - Team Player Award recipient. This award goes to someone who has devoted time and resources to boost the community around them. • Julie Peterson Klein of Bell Bank - Kickass Award recipient. This award goes to someone who has poured their continuous support into our community. • Jim Gartin of the Greater Fargo Moorhead Economic Development Corp. - Dr. David Wells Belief Award recipient. This award was named in honor of Dr. David Wells and his impact in our community. The award goes to someone that gives generously and invests their own time and energy into building the community. • Jake Joraanstad and Ryan Raguse of Myriad Mobile - Startup of the Year Award recipients. This award goes to someone who has experienced rapid growth in the past year and is building their company in North Dakota. • eFargo - Social Impact Award recipient.
