Our March First Friday features artist Tammy Holland. “I create mixed media paintings, sculptures and jewelry. Being an Alaskan Native that grew up on the banks of the Yukon has been influential in the imagery I create and the message I wish to convey. I am interested in appreciating nature and often play with proportion and perspective to draw attention to all the gifts I have received living in this rugged land. It is my hope that my work will inspire viewers to take a moment to appreciate the landscape and consider the footprint that we are collectively leaving.”
