Today we celebrated Digital Learning Day! Students and visitors experienced some of the new technology that helps children and adults with disabilities learn at Barber National Institute. Stations showcased our interactive technology with a variety of devices and apps. #DLDay

It’s not #pyeongchang2018, but we’re having fun with our own hockey, luge, curling and other #Olympic activities – complete with an opening ceremony!

Our third annual Adult Prom will be held June 8, and you can help us get ready! We’re looking for women’s and men’s attire for a “shopping day” that will be held in May. Things for the ladies like casual and formal dresses (especially larger sizes,) accessories and shoes as well as suits and sport coats, etc. for the gentlemen. They can be dropped off at our main campus or contact Jackie at 878-4088

We’re celebrating technology in education and everyone is invited! Join us for #DigitalLearningDay on Thursday in the gym from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. for lots of hand-on activities!

Congratulations to Amy Murphy, center, who received the Aktion Club Member of the Year Award for all of Pennsylvania! Amy volunteers for every project, from highway clean ups to bowl-a-thons, and is also the top fundraiser for the group that is affiliated with the #Kiwanis Club.
