#WhyHurstWednesday ☘️☘️☘️☘️ "When I first visited Mercyhurst my junior year of high school I could tell right from the start it was the university for me. My first visit was for a "Day in Intelligence." I was very impressed with the program and was thinking to myself this is exactly what I want to do. Fast foreword almost 2 years later as a student in the Intelligence Studies program, I was still amazed by the major and everything that came with it, except I just didn't feel it was for me anymore. I started looking at different schools and majors wondering if I made the right choice. Being involved in the Jazz and Wind Ensemble here I decided to talk to Dr. Meier and my friends of the music department about what I should do. With their help and my own self-realization, I switched majors from Intelligence Studies to Music Therapy. I am confident in knowing that there's no other school I'd rather be at than Mercyhurst. All it takes is the wonderful friends you make and the professors you meet here to help you realize what your purpose is. I'm so excited for the years to come." -Grace Siwinski, Freshman, Music Therapy Major ☘️☘️☘️☘️
