The Endicott Police Department hosting this year's Police Week Memorial Service.
This morning, the Endicott Police Department will host the Police Week Memorial Service organized by the Southern Tier Law Enforcement Memorial Association. The ceremony will be held on Park Street in between the War Memorial and the Police and Fire Departments. Park Street will be closed to traffic from approximately 10:30 AM - Noon. The ceremony will begin with a silent procession of police vehicles down Main Street in Endwell and the Village of Endicott, followed by a short memorial ceremony. The memorial ceremony will include a reading of names of officers who have fallen in the line of duty, the placing of a wreath, taps and an honor volley (21 gun salute), with music provided by the Edward P. Maloney Memorial Pipe Band. The public is invited to observe the ceremony.
The Union Endicott High School has closed the pit parking lot to all students tomorrow due to possible flooding. Students will be allowed to park on the street or in village lots and the 2 hour parking rules will not be enforced.

Broome County unveils new opioid drop-offs
The drop box at the Endicott Police Department is now open and accepting medication.
New York State has issued a State of Emergency since midnight this morning. We are experiencing heavy snowfall as predicted that will continue for the foreseeable future. If you are forced to leave your homes today, please plan for the weather and exercise caution while traveling. If you do not need to leave your homes, it is recommended that you don't. Please monitor emergency broadcasts for developing news on this storm.
The Village of Endicott Police Department would like to remind residents that there is NO PARKING on any street or highway in the Village of Endicott after the accumulation of 3 inches or more of snowfall, unless specifically noted by signage. There is also no parking after 3 inches of snowfall between 9 AM – 12 Noon in Village municipal lots and other streets that are marked by signage. Due to tonight’s impeding snowfall, we encourage all residents to find off-street parking by 10 PM in order to assist work crews in the safe and efficient removal of snow.
