Danielle and Jason grew up together at their church--they've been together through joys and triumphs and heartbreak and loss. And now they're just a few short weeks away from becoming husband and wife. These two are absolutely precious together. Danielle is crazy proud of Jason and all that he's accomplished; Jason looks at Danielle like she personally added stars to the night sky. You can't help but smile when you're with them! © 2017 Clagett Photography

Mackenzie is an artist at heart. She daydreams about teaching art to little kids in Latin America, which says a lot about who she is, deep down. She plays several instruments, is in choir and drama at school (and has even appeared in the Eric and Joe Show!), and plays tennis at JHHS. She's also admitted to being totally obsessed with Bob Ross since the age of three (she used to believe that he was the one who painted the clouds in her sky every day). We'd list out the rest of her activities and interests, but, seriously, you'd be exhausted just to read them all! Mackenzie, we're so glad to have you as a part of our Model Experience this year!!! © 2017 Clagett Photography

Paul is a guy with a serious sense of style. He's also insanely talented--and has the brains to round it all out. We got to spend an amazing afternoon at Bowman Field, taking advantage of its Art Deco design and exploring a building that is as unique as Paul is. He brought along his vintage tuxedo, chucks, guitar and the best sunglasses on the planet for a Senior Session that was unforgettable! © 2017 Clagett Photography

Justine and Jeremy’s love story started way back in their youth group days at church. They met, liked each other a whole lot, but were too young for dating. Then, as it so often happens, Justine’s family moved away to the west coast. That didn’t deter them a bit. They’ve been dating long-distance now for years and are—finally—getting ready for their wedding this July! They’re absolutely precious to see together. Justine is effervescent and Jeremy is laid-back; they compliment each other perfectly. We absolutely cannot wait to see them married and finally together, where they belong, for good! © 2017 Clagett Photography

It was such a joy to capture Luca’s first year with his mom and dad. This kid has, from day one, charmed the socks off of me. Maybe it has something to do with his instinctive love for Doctor Who, or maybe it’s just that fabulous grin…whatever it is, he has me wrapped around his little finger! © 2016 Clagett Photography

Jacquelyn may very well have the most positive attitude of anyone I know. She’s faced a lot in the past year or so, but she talks about all of it with a smile and a little laugh. She's had to give up some of her favorite things (like horseback riding and marching band), but she’s able to see the positives in the middle of the tough things. I love how these images show off her resilience and her genuinely sweet nature! © 2016 Clagett Photography

Our sweet friends, the Taylors, were so excited to welcome their two new daughters, Eva and Zoe, to their family this past Fall. I will never forget the look on Lyndsay’s face when she described the girls’ reaction to hearing that “this time, you’re coming home with me” from their orphanage in Haiti. The girls are full of life and energy and love—they spread it wherever they go. And their new big sisters, Yemi and Selah, absolutely adore these two. These images, well, they just make me all kinds of happy. Lyndsay and Jack, we love your family’s victory story! © 2016 Clagett Photography

Becca turns 18 today. We’ve known her since she was just in middle school, so it’s possible her birthday is making us feel a tad bit on the “old” side (for the moment). Becca is beautiful, inside and out and has a passion for music. We love that she’s spending her birthday racking up the awards at the state FCCLA conference—go, Becca! © 2016 Clagett Photography

If we had hours, we might be able to start to explain how very much we adore Katherine. She’s one of those young women that you look at and hope that your daughter grows up to be just like her. She’s confident, but humble. Artistic, but grounded. Smart and funny and kind and generous and full of faith. And, good grief, the girl is stunning. Her Senior Session this winter was 100% Katherine. We spent some time in an art gallery (and some of her favorite images were the crazy experimental ones that we loved the most, too) and wandered around downtown Louisville. Is it okay that we’re almost as sad to see her go off to college as her mom is??? © 2016 Clagett Photography
