We offer small class sizes for the child and caregiver to learn and share music in a developmentally appropriate, joyful and playful setting. Little Moo's Music was founded in August 2015.   The music center is named after founder Rebecca Tellyer's son, who is affectionately known as "the little moose."  After teaching kindergarten music for ten years, Rebecca observed that many children were coming in to school lacking basic musical skills, such as being able to sing simple songs, keep a steady beat, and move expressively to music.  This inspired her to create a music center where children can receive quality and developmentally appropriate musical experiences, as well as teach their parents a repertoire of songs, rhymes, dances and games they can do beyond the class with their children.

Little Moo's mission is to enrich children's lives with music and to help children become sensitive to beautiful music, so that one day they may dance at their own wedding, sing lullabies to their own children, sing in tune at church or to the national anthem, become creative thinkers, and develop a life-long love for music.

This is a wiggle, starting with the thumb (and can also be performed on the toes with younger babies). For the first two lines, take hands and make a rowing motion. The best part comes at the end. Enjoy!

A beautiful melody in honor of this lovely weather we've been experiencing. It is sung on a simple do, re, mi pattern. Tap your little one gently, changing where you tap each time you repeat the song. If you don't know the melody from class, you can always chant the words. I'll be posting a video later. If you love it, drop in on a class. Sign up at littlemoosmusic.com

This is one of my favorites. Draw a circle on your little one's tummy or back, during the first two lines. One the third walk your fingers, and give a little tickle or a "boop" on his nose. My 2.5 year old LOVES this game. He is always asking for his dad or me to do it to him. Last week, he came up to his baby sister (while she was nursing), said the rhyme and "booped" her on the nose. My heart melted! I hope this rhyme give you happy memories as well.
