Project Rewind-Talbot County: On August 27, 1905 a group of 12 Easton, Md. men self named the "Alfaretta Fishing Club" spent a week fishing Sharp's Island's waters 5 miles off of Black Walnut Point on Tilghman Island. Members in the group included Walter C. Hughs, A. Clark Gilbert, E. Ashton Plummer, W. J. H. Wooters, Joseph P. Hull, George C. Mason, W. Grayson Stitchberry, Lawrence H. Chaffinch, Harry S. Burrows, J. M. Mowbray, J. Graham Shannahan and William C. Meintzer. Are any of your ancestors listed here? Facts: " The Tales of Sharp's Island" by Douglass Hanks, Jr. Dec. , 1975.
