EAGLE PASS FIRE DEPARTMENT- PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT JULY 20, 2017 The Eagle Pass Fire Department will be conducting a special training on Saturday, July 22, 2017, in which they will be setting a house on fire by Jefferson Street just north of Cleveland Street. This training will involve a controlled structure fire which may alarm some of the residents when the smoke plume rises. The training will start at 9 am to approximately 5 pm. Area will be barricaded and citizens are urged to stay away, and not cross any of the barricades for their own safety. This training will allow department staff to practice ventilation purposes, strategic placement of hoses, and fire behaviour. Eagle Pass Fire Chief, Manuel Mello
