where athletes become MVP's Formerly Champions Sports Center, MVP Sports was established by the McCool family in January of 2012. The McCool's are a very sports-oriented family and are focused on providing a "first class" indoor sports facility. MVP Sports' mission is to help the development of competitive athleticism in multiple sports activities to area youth, in the spirit of fair play honestly, integrity, and sportsmanship, while providing a safe, clean, and fun environment. MVP Sports offers 3 regulation sized basketball courts, 5 regulation sized volleyball courts, a turf area with 2 batting/pitching cages, a turf running lane, a dance/yoga studio, and fitness & TRX equipment. We offer many types of memberships with our fitness membership starting at $25/month. Court rental is available for $40/hour per court. MVP Sports offers baseball, basketball, and volleyball private and group lessons by our directors in each sport. Our EDGE Speed & Agility program is offered every 4 weeks (meeting twice a week). We hold many camps throughout the year in baseball, basketball, dance, and volleyball. MVP Sports is the home of the Central Iowa Select Volleyball Club and we plan to establish our own teams in basketball, baseball, and softball. The facility also hosts many sporting events, such as basketball and volleyball tournaments, gymnastics meets, etc. Visit our website for more information!

This event is near and dear to the McCool Family! Ten years ago tomorrow (April 5th, 2018) marks the 10th Anniversary of the horrific car accident Maleah McCool and Bethany McCool were in! Maleah suffered several injuries including brain trauma and the loss of a kidney. The first few days after the accident were crucial to Maleah's survival. Without the blood transfusions she received during this time she would not be with us today. We would love to have as many people out to MVP Sports on Friday, April 6th from 2-6pm to donate blood-it helped save Maleah's life (Nick and Zach McCool's sister) We need just a couple more donors to reach our goal! If you don't want to schedule a specific time Beth McCool can schedule you as a walk-in! If you have any questions or interest in donating please contact Bethany McCool at 641-740-0440. https://donor.lifeservebloodcenter.org/donor/schedules/drive_schedule/155999

From Coach Zach McCool: At this time I want to thank all of the individuals that have reached out to me about working with their son on hitting! I have been blessed with starting my journey in Des Moines 6 years ago! We started from ground zero with no baseball clients when we took over our sports facility! We thank you all for the kind words, and the best kind of marketing “word of mouth”. I am currently chucked full with lessons and have started a wait list to get in to hit with me. If you have contacted me about individual or group lessons and have not heard back I apologize. I do my best on finding time for each client, but sometimes they slip through the cracks! Please keep trying and reaching out! On another note there is no reason why you should not use MVP as your prime training spot! We have other instructors that work and train just like me! We are all on the same page on how we teach our players and clients! Our other staff members have openings to fit you in! Please contact Nick McCool at nmccool@champions-sportscenter.com Or Ryan Barnes at rbarnes@mvp-sportscenter.com! I promise you will not be disappointed, without these 2 individuals my program would not be what it is today.
