Kindling Workshop: Denver

The Kindling Workshop is an interactive workshop that introduces the idea of entrepreneurship and teaches the basics of starting a business. Participants work in small groups to design their own popcorn business determining their customers, competitors, and competitive advantage. They also learn basic business etiquette and meet an entrepreneur in their community. Attendees identify their interests, assess their entrepreneurial traits, and explore if self employment is in their future. WHO SHOULD ATTEND? Young adults age 15-30 who are exploring their possibilities for the future. It is open to those with developmental disabilities and their siblings.
