Kipling Elementary School - District 109
Description
Kipling Elementary School is one of four high-achieving elementary schools in District 109. Kipling serves students kindergarten through grade 5. Students from Kipling Elementary School (along with Walden Elementary School students) feed into Shepard Middle School. Kipling has an active Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) whose volunteers help plan events, enrichment programs and fundraisers to support the teachers, students and school community.

Kipling was thrilled to welcome retired Nasa astronaut Don Thomas to our school today. Dr. Thomas is a veteran of 4 space shuttle missions. Dr. Thomas is the uncle of one of our parents and we couldn't have organized this without her help. His message was very inspiring and the students had amazing questions.
