Trunk or Treat is coming October 29 from 5-7 PM. This is a great, fun place for children to wear their costumes and enjoy a safe evening of gathering in treats. The community is invited. We hope to see you then.

As Lord's Acre gets closer, those who donate baked goods will really get busy. It's only a couple of weeks until October 8! Anyone want to share what is planned for their baking menu?

We are almost at a month out from Lord's Acre here at Mission Central. Is anyone ready to share of hint of what we might see at the Country Store, Live Auction or Silent Auction?

Allison joined the church today on a profession of faith. What is really cool is that the youth all came and stood behind her during that time. On their own, they softly started singing, We are Family. What a great group of youth and we are blessed to have Jenna as their leader.

Remember, there is just one worship service this coming Sunday. It is at 10:45. Sunday School is at the usual time. After church we will have a fundraiser meal sponsored by the UMM. This Sunday is YOUTH Sunday. Please come and support our youth as they lead us in worship and share their experiences doing mission work this summer.

We will welcome the Rev. Mark Winter this coming Sunday August 14 as he brings the morning message. Be sure to plan to come and enjoy this United Methodist Evangelist and friend of Crowley UMC.

The Bus has been many places over the years. Lets see if we can remember some of the places it has carried church members who have gone on mission trips. Please add cities and dates.

We are less than two weeks out from VBS. It will be July 17-20. We offer a lite dinner for all the children and workers at 5:30 pm with programming running from 6-8 pm. We welcome the children of our community. There is no fee for VBS. Please come and have a great time.

Summer is approaching and the trustees are working to be sure the bus is ready for all its adventures taking youth to serve in mission across our state and others. The Boy Scout Troop #554 is heading to Philmont Scout Camp in northern New Mexico, the Senior High youth are off to northern Arkansas and the junior high youth will head to Brownwood, Texas. Prayers that all the little repairs on the bus are completed would be appreciated and safe journeys for our youth and their adult sponsors are always welcome.
