We offer co-ed boot camps and fitness classes with personal coaching, weight management and nutrition counseling Developed by Jennifer Armstrong, the About Face coaching style draws on the muscle-building power of your core to challenge every part of your body to build in-ward out. Working out regularly with AFBC, you will improve your strength, endurance and balance, and make the leap from routine fitness to true athleticism. CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
Boot Camp
Intense full body workout that mixes circuit training, cardio, weights to burn fat and sculpt and build lean muscle.
Camo Jam/Boot Camp
Full throttle dance inspired cardio combined with the strength training of our boot camp for a total body workout.
Dirty 30
A 30-minute, high-intensity, interval training class is an excellent way to maximize a workout that is limited on time. This short, intense workout will provide improved athletic capacity and condition, improved glucose metabolism, and improved fat burning, well after the workout ends.
Running Group
All running levels meet to run 2 – 6 miles each week. Duration and speed is based on your running level.
Unleashed
The ultimate urban workout! We run through Gaston county and find hills, paths, stairs, fences, trees, bushes and ditches to enhance and challenge our runs. Every week “Unleashed” posts a new drop point (where we start) on Facebook.
Shock & Awe
Classes will focus on endurance, strength and obstacle training in preparation for mud and obstacle course runs, such as the Spartan, Tough Mudder, Warrior Dash and Superhero Scrambles.
Corporate and Small group training is also available.
