A New Beginning - Combined Service

Dear Church Family & Friends, Greetings in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ! On Sunday, May 18th, Marianne and I made an official announcement that Pastor George Nix will be stepping down as the Senior Pastor of Living Water Foursquare Church on June 11th and has decided to pursue other ministry opportunities. As a result, the Foursquare District Supervisor, Fernando Castillo, has approved a merger of both churches with me as the newly appointed Senior Pastor. New Heart Foursquare Church will also take over responsibility for the facility. We are inviting the members of Living Water Foursquare Church to consider joining New Heart Foursquare Church as their church home. To make the transition easier, we are holding a combined service to thank Pastor George and Sue for their service to the Living Water congregation and officially join the two churches. The combined service will be on Sunday, June 11th, at 10:30 AM. This will also be our new service time from that point forward. The Area Supervisor, Pat Crowder, will be the official representative for the Foursquare denomination, and we are asking everyone to support us on that day. Marianne and I want to thank you for your continued dedication over the many years that we have been together, and we pray that this will be another chapter in our continued growth to reach our local and extended communities. Please do everything you can to make the members of Living Water feel welcome and at home during the transition. It is not easy to say goodbye to a beloved pastor so quickly, and we want to provide comfort during this period. We are looking forward to our new adventures in Christ! Heart to Heart Women's Fellowship

The Truth Project

Join us for an exciting new Bible study series on Wednesday nights at 7 PM! This new series from Focus on the Family is designed to help you develop a Biblical worldview and discern how to make decisions consistent with the Bible in everyday life. By doing so, you will get more joy and meaning out of life through a closer relationship with God. In a recent study, the Barna Research Group revealed a stunning statistic that continues to reverberate throughout the evangelical world. Only 9 percent of professing Christians have a Biblical worldview. Because of this, today's believers live very similarly to non-believers. A personal sense of significance is rarely experienced, we spend our money and time on things that fail to satisfy and we begin to wonder what life's ultimate purpose really is. We are, in short, losing our bearings as a people and a nation. To counter this slide within the body of Christ, Focus on the Family has launched one of the most ambitious and powerful projects in the history of our ministry - The Truth Project. The Truth Project is a DVD-based small group curriculum comprised of 12 one-hour lessons taught by Dr. Del Tackett. This home study is the starting point for looking at life from a Biblical perspective. Each lesson discusses in great detail the relevance and importance of living the Christian worldview in daily life. We believe this one project represents the possibility for exponential change within the body of Christ; millions have been transformed by this curriculum. Is Genesis History? - Movie Screening

Join us for an exciting new movie called "Is Genesis History"? It is for the whole family, and it tracks the Debunking Evolution series that our church just finished with the youth. This will be a kick-off for our summer Bible series on "The Truth Project." We will have pizza and drinks for everyone as part of this summer celebration. "Is Genesis History?" features over a dozen scientists and scholars explaining how the world intersects with Genesis. From rock layers to fossils, to lions and stars, this fascinating film will change the way you see the world. The goal of the film is to provide a positive case for Creation in six normal days, a real Adam and Eve, a global flood, and a tower of Babel. Dear all, It is with great sadness that we write to inform you about a tragic loss to our church family. Elizabeth and Richard's baby (Marcus Jeremiah Gaytan) had a complication during pregnancy on Sunday. The umbilical chord was pinched, and Marcus could not get oxygen. As a result, Marcus did not make it through the night, and his spirit went back to be with the Lord. Richard is Lux Solis's son, and Marcus is Lux's grandson. God knew us all prior to birth, and Marcus was formed by God in the womb. As it says in Psalm 139:13-14: "For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well." Please pray for the family and consider donating to help cover the funeral costs.
