Project DAWN Cuyahoga County
Description
Project DAWN is an opioid education and naloxone distribution program. We provide naloxone kits for the reversal of opioid overdose. Project DAWN (Deaths Avoided with Naloxone) aims to educate opioid users and their loved ones on the risk factors for an opioid overdose, recognizing an overdose and how to respond to an overdose with nasal naloxone spray.
We are a walk-in clinic open every:
-Thursday from 4p-8p at McCafferty Health Center (4242 Lorain Ave)
-Friday from 9a-12p at the Cuyahoga County Board of Health (5550 Venture Drive, Parma)
-Friday from 1p-5p at The Free Medical Clinic of Greater Cleveland (12201 Euclid Ave, Cle)
Kits and refills are always FREE. Naloxone kits are prescribed to individuals who are at-risk of an opioid overdose and individuals who may know someone who is at-risk of an opioid overdose. We are supported by MetroHealth, The Cuyahoga County Executive's Office, The Ohio Department of Health, and the Cuyahoga County ADAMHS Board.
