Colonia Fire units responded to a three car MVA at the intersection of Lake ave and Lancaster Rd. The driver of the van was removed from the passenger door of the vehicle. Two people were transported to local hospitals with non-life threatening injuries
7/4/16 144-148 Pennsylvania Ave Newark NJ 4th Alarm
Around 11pm sunday evening, Newark companies responded to a working fire on the 3rd floor of a multi-family dwelling. Upon arrival crews were met with heavy fire on the top floor and almost immediate extension to the exposures. Within about 15 minuets Newark B/C 4 had transmitted a second alarm and confirmed extension into two other buildings. Moments later a third alarm was transmitted for extension into another building, with a total of 4 buildings involved. One firefighter was rescued with no known injuries from a 3rd story window of one of the buildings. Crews were battling a gas fed fire and could only maintain protection and containment until the gas was shut off. The incident reached a total of 4 alarms, and mutual aid was called into the city. 32 familes were displaced from their homes. The Red Cross was on scene working with those familes. At around 2am the fire was deemed under control, GREAT job to all firefighters working on scene.
6/30/2016 127 Sumner Ave Plainfield NJ
Around 8:30 Pm Thursday night, Plainfield Fire Division responded to a working fire at 127 Sumner Ave. Plainfield B/C 4 arrived on scene and reported fire showing from division 2. South Plainfield Truck and North Plainfield Engine were requested to the scene for assistance. Scotch Plains, Fanwood, Berkeley Heights and Westfeild were requested for station coverage.
7/1/2016 925 Front St. Plainfield NJ
Around 3:45 AM friday morning, Plainfield fire division was dispatched to a possible structure fire. Upon arival compaines found a working afire in a multi-family dwelling. Plainfield engine 1 and ladder 1 were first on scene. Crews removed one victim from the fire and was transported to a local hospital Mutual Aid was requested from multiple surrounding towns, Scotch Plains, Fanwood, Berkely Heights, North Plainfield, South Plainfield, Summit, Cranford, Union, and Linden. The fire reached a total of 3 alarms. This was Plainfield's second fire in just 7 hours

Firefighters rescued a victim from the roof just in time before the roof was engulfed with smoke. Fantastic job by all members on scene
