PLEASE NOTE: This page is managed by Garchen Institute staff, not by His Eminence Garchen Rinpoche. We are a Tibetan Buddhist temple and retreat center. Nestled in the forested foothills amid the canyons surrounding Prescott, with spectacular panoramic views of the red cliffs of Sycamore Canyon and the San Francisco peaks, and above Chino Valley, Arizona, the Garchen Institute retreat center offers a setting of extraordinary natural beauty for individual or group retreats, workshops, classes, weddings, and memorial ceremonies. We have one temple and two stupas. Please note that our actual address is 9995 E Blissful Path, which is 9.5 miles down E Perkinsville Rd, 7 miles of which are unpaved.
