This is the official Facebook Page for Columbus Park, owned & operated by the Chicago Park District & located in the Austin community. Located in the Austin Community, Columbus Park totals 135 acres and is considered the masterpiece of Jens Jensen, known as dean of Prairie-style landscape architecture. The park features a large fieldhouse, lagoons, waterfalls, stonework and the beautiful “Refectory” building, a popular spot for weddings and special events. The park also offers a nature area, children’s accessible playground with an interactive water feature, bicycle path, jogging path, pavilion and 9-hole golf course.

Our friends and neighbors at La Follette Park will be hosting the Joffrey Academy of Dance, an official school of The Joffrey Ballet, for a FREE performance this Saturday from noon-12:45pm and again from 3-3:45pm! Advanced ballet students will perform a collection of bold works ranging from classical ballet to contemporary work that reflects the world we live in today. Don't miss it!
