Final plans are underway for the 121st Daddy of ‘em All and we wanted to give you an update. CFD invested over $85,000 in Buckle Club facility improvements the past several months. With new paint, flooring, bathroom fixtures and other enhancements, we think you’ll agree that the Buckle Club will be a much nicer place to gather with friends and family during the 2017 show. The Buckle Club will be open to the public 11:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m. Loretta will prepare and serve food. Beer and spirits also will be available, with final contracts for a liquor vendor being reviewed. Buckle Club members and volunteers will receive food and drink discounts. AV upgrades will provide improved live-stream rodeo action.
A huge shout-out to the Jim Ward family, the boys from "Cooking In The Barn," and the Buckle Club Board members and their spouses for a fantastic Spring Steak Fry! Everyone appeared to dine well and in some cases, rekindled old friendships. Hope to see all again at the Daddy!
Don't forget: Buckle Club Membership Spring Steak Fry tonight in the Oasis Garden area. Starting off with a tour of the updated Buckle Club renovations, and then getting the feedbag on! Cocktails beginning at 5:30, dinner shortly thereafter.
