Gracie Humaita of Springfield IL We are the Springfield representative for Gracie Humaita of Rio De Janeiro, Brazil - the birthplace of Gracie Jiu Jitsu. Gracie Humaita is led by Royler Gracie and our school is run by Mark Commean.
Whether you're looking for self defense or looking to compete on national levels, our comprehensive curriculum can help you meet your goals. Mark is a Chatham police officer, a former Special Operations Soldier in the 82nd Airborne, and a veteran of the Iraq war. He has trained with the best in the art and has competed in the most prestigious tournaments in the world.
