Last Bertram Flyer of 2017! This route will not return until March of 2018. Our 44 mile round trip journey spans the South San Gabriel River and stops for a 15 minute layover at our historic Bertram Depot. The Depot, built by the San Antonio & Aransas Pass Railroad in 1912, is an excellent example of turn of the century country-depot architecture. The fully restored interior features an operator’s bay, vintage operating equipment and historic photographs. All cars are pulled by a diesel locomotive. Parties of two may be seated at shared tables. This ride is 3 hours round trip with a 15 minute layover.
Good Afternoon! All rides for opening weekend of the North Pole Flyer are currently sold out-with the exception of the 11/26 7pm departure. There is still room for groups of 4-6 on this departure! http://www.austinsteamtrain.org/special-events/north-pole-flyer/
