Matt Corino is the owner of Sugar Loaf Koi Farm in Goshen, New York. Matt is a respected koi dealer specializing in Shintaro go-sanke and all varieties from Masaki koi, Yagenji and many other respected breeders.  Matt got his start in the field over 23 years ago and by the age of 14, he built his first koi pond and joined the Mid-Atlantic Koi Club.  Growing up, Matt spent summers studying koi at one of England's largest koi centers and by 18 he took his first trip to Japan, where he studied under Sakai Isawa.  Once Matt was introduced to Masaru Saito of Shintaro Koi Farm, he began offering customers the chance to own top-quality Shintaro Koi and has been doing so for the past 18 years.

Seth Alden is a self-taught hobbiest whose love for koi led him to Japan to explore his calling. Seth has taken his passion for koi to the next level by studying under Matt Corino and Masaru Saito of Shintaro Koi Farm in Japan. His extraordinary enthusiasm for the hobby paired with his eye for high-quality koi is inspiring.
